Our Warranty Coverage

10-Year Limited Warranty on Wood Products

Wood-based products supplied as part of your Florida Closets Company system are covered by a 10-year limited warranty.

This includes applicable cabinetry, shelving, panels, and other wood-based components included in your project.

If the manufacturer of a product provides coverage beyond 10 years, you receive the benefit of that longer manufacturer warranty.

1-Year Limited Warranty on Components

Hardware, accessories, and other non-wood components are covered for a minimum of one year.

Depending on your project, these may include:

  • Hinges and soft-close hardware

  • Drawer slides

  • Closet and garage accessories

  • Pull-out hardware

  • Valet rods, tie racks, and specialty organizers

  • Lighting components

  • Slatwall accessories and related hardware

  • Other installed components

Some manufacturers provide warranties longer than one year. When they do, we pass that extended manufacturer coverage along to you.

1-Year Labor & Workmanship Warranty

Florida Closets Company provides a 1-year warranty on our installation labor and workmanship beginning from completion of your installation.

If an installation-related issue covered by our workmanship warranty occurs during that period, contact us and we’ll inspect the issue and determine the appropriate repair.

Longer Manufacturer Warranty? You Get It.

Our listed warranty periods are not intended to shorten a longer warranty offered by a manufacturer.

If a manufacturer provides longer applicable coverage on a material, piece of hardware, accessory, or other component installed in your project, that manufacturer warranty is passed along to you.

You receive the longer applicable coverage when available.

What Does “Limited Warranty” Mean?

Warranty coverage applies to qualifying defects in the products, components, or workmanship covered by the applicable warranty.

Coverage does not generally apply to damage resulting from things outside the product or installation itself, such as misuse, accidents, unauthorized alterations, improper care, structural or environmental conditions, or normal wear.

Specific manufacturer products may have their own warranty requirements, limitations, and exclusions.

The warranty applicable to your particular project will be based on the products installed and the applicable manufacturer terms.

How Do I Make a Warranty Claim?

If you believe something covered by warranty needs attention, simply contact Florida Closets Company.

We’ll ask for information about the issue and, when necessary, arrange to inspect it.

Our goal is simple: if there is a legitimate warranty issue, we want to help get it resolved.

One thing I would add at the bottom in smaller text

Warranty coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions applicable to the specific products and manufacturers used in each project. Florida Closets Company’s labor and workmanship warranty applies to qualifying installation-related issues for one year from completion.

That last sentence protects you from the website accidentally becoming a broader guarantee than the actual manufacturer warranties or your contract.
